The Tahitian Pearl Trophy 1st Edition

The Tahitian Pearl Trophy design competition is the initiative of GIE Perles de Tahiti, the promotion body of French Polynesia's pearling industry.

It is an international contest, which is run in various participating countries.
For the first edition, which ended in Paris in October 2000, were involved 17 countries, hundreds of participants, 83 national winners and 20 international winners.
