Tahitian Pearl Trophy Now in its Third Edition

This competition has become one of the most important in
the jewellery world. By its diversity and the numbers of
participating countries and jewellery designers, the Tahitian
Pearl Trophy is the reflection of international creativity in full
flight. Hundreds of designers from more than thirty different
countries have once again brilliantly illustrated the versatility
and the precious difference of the Tahiti Cultured Pearl. This
exceptional pearl adorns the most beautiful sets by worldrenowned
jewellers of the Place Vendome, as well as
contemporary jewellery for men and the young. With a little
imagination and much talent, the Tahiti Cultured Pearl will
lend its incomparable lustre equally to the most classic of
ideas and to the most original and avant-garde designs. For
this third Trophy, the competitors have presented designs in
ten different categories. A national jury has met in each
country to designate the three best pieces in each category.
The first-prize winner in each country has participated in the
2004 international competition. In this brochure, you will
discover the winners of International competition chosen by
a jury which met in June 2004 in Vicenza. Now it is up to you
to judge the best winning pieces. On behalf of the GIE Perles
de Tahiti, I personally would like to congratulate the winners
